11.3.14 A Broken Window & Broken System

I fail to see how the public has to be protected from such an inoffensive notice! Alas, the whole fucking mess regarding who might take offence at stuff means there is NO freedom of speech in the United Kingdom.  Unfortunately the UK is no longer a democracy, and instead, minorities are given extra attention beyond what is reasonable, and if just one cunt takes offence at anything, the majority is outvoted.  This latest fiasco demonstrates how fucked up the UK is.

Here are the bullet points surrounding events:

• Vandal puts a brick through an office window
• Police say not enough evidence to prosecute suspected culprit
• Business owner puts up sign on the boarded up window
• "A Dirty Pervert Drug Dealing Grass did this"
• Three complaints are made about the sign
• Police tell business owner he could face arrest for the sign
• Business owner agrees to tape over the word 'Pervert'
• He puts up a further note apologising to the public if offence is caused
• Three policemen arrest the business owner
• Businessman claims one of the 3 complaints was from the vandal !
• Business owner (victim) is charged by the police
• Offence = Using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm and distress
• Business owner agrees to accept caution rather than face lengthy court case
• He faces a £1,000 legal bill
• Repairs will cost £2,500
• Businessman discloses that 2,500 people signed a petition to confirm they were not offended
• He was goaded by the vandal who boasted about not being arrested
• The CPS and police issue pathetic statements to defend their actions

It is quite clear that the business owner was the victim of vandalism, and that he was frustrated.  Rather than the police trying to do something about the cunt responsible, they decided to opt not for an apologetic approach, but an OFFENSIVE one.  Rather than showing any sympathy for the owner, the police reversed their attentions so that HE was in the firing line.  There can be no one other than the actual vandal who would be offended by the fucking cunting notice.  One of the complainants WAS the fucking vandal!  As for the other two people who took offence, so fucking what?  Two people moan about a sign, and this outweighs the 2,500 who signed a fucking petition to say there was no offence caused!  I am dumbfounded by the cuntish actions on the cunting police who ignore the real problems and pick on people whom they can manipulate, prosecute, persecute or simply harass.  

I am sorry to anyone who takes offence at my summation of things, but I am simply reflecting what could be argued is a sensible view shared by many people in the UK.  [ Anyway, if you click on a link with the word 'cunt' in it, or type 'cunt' to get to this page, then it's your own fault ]  This whole thing is further evidence that the UK is fucked up.
