6.5.13 Viking River Cruises

All things come to an end in the world of TV, and yesterday saw the end of an eight-week run for Viking River Cruises.  The 132 episodes of sheer mental torture, every Sunday for eight weeks have left me sure of one thing in this life - that I will never ever go on a fucking Viking River Cruise!

"Reveal the secrets of a great river cruise - Viking River Cruises sponsors mystery dramas on ITV."  This, and variations of it that included "Reveal the secrets of Europe" have been haunting us all for ages, interspersed with sections of Foyle's War and Endeavour.  I have no idea what the schedules have in store for us now, but am praying there is not further need for Viking River Cruises to eat at my brain.
