1.10.13 FA - Football Association or Fucking Arseholes?

Can there now be any doubt at all that the FA is a toothless waste of space, following the Torres affair?  Of course not!  The game, the players, the clubs and the 'authorities' that manage and control thing all deserve each other. Cheating, conning, and outright lying are all now part of the game, as is denial and claims of "I didn't see it."

Now we have the reverse of that - a linesman (Jake Collin) who has apparently confirmed, as part of the review of the Torres sending off and conduct in the game with Spurs last week, that he did in fact see Torres gouging at the face of Vertonghen.  So, the referee (Mike Dean) did not see the incident, meaning the review panel at the FA could enforce a three-match ban to top up the one he gets for being sent off later in that game. However, the linesman's confirmation that he did see the incident means, apparently, that FA can be done by the FA.

I assume that the linesman will himself be disciplined for observing an incident (classed as violent conduct and worthy of a sending off) and doing FA about it! Apparently, though, it's more complicated than that because in a statement the FA confirmed an official had seen the incident "but not in its entirety".  So, the twat did not see it then?  What hokum-cunting-shite is this, then?  Torres escapes under a rule that says if he was observed there can be no retrospective action.  Then we learn that he was not actually properly observed after all - allowing the linesman to escape any consequences himself.  This stinks, as usual.  The FA can achieve FA.

Can there be any doubt of the corrupt nature of the rules and/or the enforcement (well, non-enforcement) approach adopted by the FA?  Of course not.  Still, poaching players, diving, cheating, pulling/pushing/tripping, biting, swearing, spitting, jumping and maiming are all now standard fayre, as is the complete disregard for normality and common sense displayed by prima donna blokes.  Far too much money, time and standards to live up to mean every week, one bunch of greedy cunts shares 90 minutes on a green square with another bunch of greedy cunts, and the FA presides over the mess, showing itself to be an institutional useless cunt.

Study the picture above, which is apparently one depicting sportsmanlike behaviour and the essence of football, and then conclude that all is well and nothing can or should be done about it - for this is what the FA has chosen to do.
