Not for the first time am I writing about Barton, and highlighting what a thug he is. I am amazed that he manages to secure employment and sky-high wages when at regular intervals he display such diabolical behaviour.
I had no end of pictures to choose from, but opted in the end for a simple picture from the neck upwards, where ordinarily one would expect to find a brain and some awareness of civilised behaviour. After elbows to the face of Carlos Tevez on Sunday, plus other actions that included hitting another City player, I expect he'll get a ban of some reasonable length. However, while his contract means such an outlay for QPR, there is unlikely to be any 'excommunication'. This is the problem with the game today - no club can really afford to discipline a player because it ends up costing so much money, whether through the loss of input for high wages, or in the value of the player at the point of sale.
So, whilst JB has been hitting people on and off the field for years (including his own team-mates) and spending time in prison, the football world seems to have so far tolerated him. Why?
WHY??????????
Something needs to be done to change things. Doubt much will happen though. This guy makes Balotelli and Terry look like pansies!
