6.6.12 Record Price Reduction

Unfortunately it's not perhaps the news you were hoping to hear, because the price reduction I'm talking about is a 'record' inasmuch as it's paltry!

The Co-operative store has surpassed itself with the latest pathetic use of orange sticky labels affixed to items which are reduced.  The most common cause for such labels being printed and stuck over products' bar codes is that the sell-by date is looming.  Occasionally there are reductions to clear the last few items on a range that's to be discontinued.  However, usually the local store is littered with orange stickers on account of no fucker being able to forecast sales and determine the right quantity of anything when it comes to ordering.

All of this leads me to the record breaking price change applied to Heinz Tomato Ketchup - the one with the blue label, with less sugar, less salt and less taste.

The amazement that came my way when I saw the reduction was quite unexpected, and of a flavour altogether unprecedented.  The mark-down was a penny !!!

I do not expect this feat of astounding commerce to be bettered any time soon, and so I award the Cunt-op an Olympic Gold for this fantastic clearance offer.
