Which one has been blinded ?
I read today that Fabio Capello has been asked to appear before Parliament in Russia, to explain his teams woefully shit performance at the World Cup. This is a bit mad, really, because he ought first to explain why his own efforts were (are generally are) sub-fucking-standard. The dreadful display by the Russian team was most surely linked in some way to the twat in charge of the team!
What makes disgusting reading, though, is not the pathetic effort in the competition, but the fact that Capello is paid almost £7million PER YEAR to manage the national team. Worse, his contract until 2018 means that if the Russians wanted to oust him (which they most certainly would like to do) it will cost them £15million. Does anyone spot the striking similarities between this position, and the fucking mess at the FA when he was in charge of England. This nomad achieves nothing, gets paid a fortune, and then ensures that any exit is gift-wrapped-to-cuntin-heaven. His contract extension was signed in January, and until then, sacking him would have cost the Russians £3million. Canny Cunty Capello managed to up that so that his (rightful and warranted) ejection would cost five times that sum. This all reminds me of the alleged extension given during the South Africa World Cup by the FA to Capello, meaning we were lumbered like fuck! It's because of the awful expense of Capello that the FA decided to opt for the cheaper Roy Hodgson than pay Spurs significant compensation for Harry Redknapp.
Fools and their money are soon parted. The England FA; the Russian FA; who's next, I wonder?
