4.7.12 Murray - A Heavyweight

I am really struggling now, with the annual overkill of Murray's quest to win Wimbledon.  The hype and coverage and OTT interest is nauseating.

Andy Murray                           A Big Rock

It is unfortunate that our best chance of seeing a British winner coincides with having to endure the gurning and grumbling of one whose personality is - how can I best describe it? - non-existent.  Watching tennis over a fortnight once every year should be a nice change (if you like tennis) and enjoyable for the time it's on TV.  It should not be an annual pre-cuntin-occupation with getting a British winner at Wimbledon.  Most embarrassingly, interviewers seem to ask other players what they think of Murray's chances and his abilities.  Talk about fishing for nice comments and compliments on a player who happens to be British.  If Scotland votes for independence, can we dispense with the BBC's obsession with this approach, and will there be disinterest in Murray's endeavours (uninterest is probably too much to ask) so that we can all enjoy the spectacle?  I hope so.

Whilst Murray is better at hitting a ball with a racquet, the rock is of course more able to hold a decent conversation, avoid talking in a monotone, and has both a better disposition and a more interesting personality.  As for good looks, I'll let you decide which is more pleasing on the eye.
